Resource Centre

Background
The Resource Centre aims to be the nation's premier specialist English Language library and a one-stop showroom for teachers and librarians selecting materials for Malaysia's schools and training colleges. This ambition is a natural extension of its first purpose: to support the teaching, training, research and publications roles of ELTC, as ELTC has been charged with raising the standard of English teaching-and the teaching of other subjects through English-nationwide. Already there are some 14,000 carefully selected items available, catering for all ages (pre-school through postgraduate) and used by trainers, lecturers, materials writers, B Ed TESL students and researchers as well as ELTC staff and current (and ex-) course participants.
